Commercial engagement
Fieldborne commercial work begins with qualification, not checkout. Each paid pilot is bounded to one defined workflow and moves through approval gates before agreement, invoicing, and kickoff.
Describe the workflow
Use sanitized, non-confidential information to identify the business problem and proposed evaluation workflow. No payment is due at application.
Freeze the five qualification fields
Confirm the organization/contact, exact workflow, bounded corpus or data classification, accountable reviewer, and predefined measurable success criterion.
Define the actual commitment
Customer-specific scope, deliverables, schedule, limitations, security/data boundary, price, and payment terms are prepared only after qualification and require founder approval.
Execute before substantive work
The approved statement of work is executed before the pilot begins. Public website language is not a substitute for the customer-specific agreement.
Invoice-based billing
Approved engagements are invoiced through Stripe after agreement and billing details are confirmed. Fieldborne does not use an open public checkout for bounded pilot work.
Run the bounded evaluation
Execution begins only when the agreed evidence boundary, reviewer, success criterion, agreement, and payment conditions are satisfied. Closeout preserves observations, threshold comparison, exceptions, and limitations.
Before submitting
Do not send confidential, regulated, privileged, credential-bearing, export-controlled, production, or personal data unless a separate engagement explicitly authorizes it.
